This blog is a place for us to have fun. Let’s not take it seriously. Or maybe it’s really serious. Or maybe nothing is serious. You decide.
Can I offer you some relief? Can I make you smile or laugh? Can I suggest a simple way to be mindful? Those are my desires.
I am a nerdy book loving academic: B.A. from UNC-Chapel Hill, M.A. from University of Montana, and Ph.D. from the University of Utah. They’re all in Communication Studies, because I love it. I teach communication courses for a living, because I love it. I’m an avid reader and curator of popular psychology, management, and self-help books, because I love them.
I am also a slow and steady runner and yogi. I’ve used my mindfulness tools to run three half marathons, a trail half marathon, and one full marathon (I cry/ran the last mile of that one).
This blog is best read in a peaceful place with a warm dog by your side. At least, that’s how I roll.
